SHE SHIPS is a global hackathon where women connect, collaborate, and ship real products, no matter their background or skill level. We built an identity around a bold, empowered mindset, centered on the symbol of a black sheep: disruption meets community. A pixel typeface reinforces the tech spirit, and a high-contrast color palette keeps everything dynamic and versatile.
SHE SHIPS is a global hackathon created for women everywhere to connect, collaborate, and build, regardless of their background, profession, or skill level. The only requirement? The intention to challenge their own limiting beliefs and the curiosity to learn and ship real products. For this event, we developed an identity rooted in the bold, creative, and empowered mindset the organizers wanted to project onto every participant. The central symbol is a sheep, a powerful visual that speaks to both disruption (it's a black sheep) and community (it exists within a flock). We reinforced the tech DNA of the brand with a pixel-style typeface that delivers strong readability while feeling distinct and unconventional. The color palette was designed for high contrast and visual impact, enabling dynamic applications across a wide range of assets. _ SHE SHIPS es una hackathon global creada para que mujeres de todo el mundo puedan conectar, colaborar y construir, sin importar su contexto, profesión o habilidades. El único requisito: la intención de hackear sus propias creencias limitantes y la curiosidad de aprender y lanzar productos reales. Para este evento, desarrollamos una identidad basada en la mentalidad audaz, creativa y poderosa que las organizadoras querían transmitir a cada participante. El símbolo central es una oveja, un elemento visual que habla tanto de disrupción (es la oveja negra) como de comunidad (existe dentro de un rebaño). Reforzamos el ADN tech de la marca con una tipografía estilo pixel que ofrece gran legibilidad y al mismo tiempo se siente diferente y poco convencional. La paleta de color fue diseñada para generar alto contraste e impacto visual, permitiendo aplicaciones dinámicas en distintos formatos y piezas.
